A pilot Academy was run in 2011 funded by a grant of £2,500 from social entrepreneur charity UnLtd. Laptops for the pilot were generously loaned for free for the course from IT service company DigiBridge and co-working and training space The Cube supported the project with subsidised training space.
We would like to thank all the individuals who generously gave their time to the project either as mentors or as inspirational women speakers.
Thanks to Pilar Orti / Helen Idle / Lucy Kyle / Isebail MacKinnon / Claire Lowson / Araceli Camargo for mentoring and supporting the women in the pilot.
