My name is Tola Adelakun, and I am a single mother of 1. From as long as I can remember I have always been interested in acting and the arts and always tried to be a part of it, whether it be study, or being involved in different productions; major or small. Theatre has always been my favourite, I love the buzz that comes with it.

I decided to take up the Digital Assistant Academy course, because I felt it was time to expand on my skills, and the criteria seemed to fit perfectly with my son and myself’s immobile life at present.

Though it’s like a whole new language, I feel I have learnt a lot more of the benefits of social media, and how far you can go with promoting yourself, and making oneself known. I also feel I can collaborate my skills with my first passion eminently.

One thing I love about the web, is it’s ability to let you connect with people you possibly couldn’t connect with in your waking life. I also like the idea of blogging and posting and how it can be strictly business, but works better when you enhance your personality, it is a tool I will focus on and try to master.
